The position requires the job holder to support the offshore team, manage the Salary & TMD section across SD effectively.
Additionally, the job holder will be required to carry out his/her own functions in addition to ensuring smooth operations in the department in the absence of any other team members and able to attend meetings. A proactive, ‘open to change/ideas’ approach is highly essential to constantly evaluate processes and recommend MFG changes.
In this role, you will:
• Handle exception of Auto pay salary instructions and rejection related for corporate customers and processing and approving manual other banks salaries.
• Handling promptly customer queries relating to salaries / EFTS payments/ direct debit and utility bills payment.
• Support Bahrain Cheque Truncation System (BCTS) teams (inward/outward).
• Support ATM and credit Cards processing
• Provide high quality services.
• Assisting line manager in the coordination and monitoring of operational risk and internal control matters of Risk under payments.
• Responding to CBB/BENEFIT MI request related to EFTS/ESRAD/WPS and any new requirements.
• Ensure zero operational / reputational loss.
• Handle BCP plan
• Ensure effective control and accuracy of processing in GSC (processing /payment investigation and fulfilment team).
• Work with other sections in SD to ensure achievement of goals & business objectives.
• Smooth Functioning of the Department and maintain high moral among staff.
• Build strong internal and external customer relationships and provide efficient and high-quality service.
• Process customer instructions as per target productivity & quality standards
• Provides efficient customer service.
• Protects and safeguard the bank financially.
• Corporate with other business function to achieve customer satisfaction and overall bank goals.
Requirements

• Excellent Knowledge in Payments
• Excellent communication, leadership and management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Complete and comprehensive understanding of all systems used.
• Excellent decision making, interpersonal skills and willingness to take initiatives
• To work under multiple tasks and hence flexibility for shifting the priorities.
• Competent use of Excel and MS Word
