Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Patriot Operations Manager within the Qatar Patriot portfolio of programs, reporting to the Qatar Program Associate Director. This portfolio includes Qatar-specific Technical Assistance (SICO, Fielding Support, Training, and Depot Support), and Engineering Services.
As the Operations Manager you will be the main point of contact for the Qatar Emiri Air Defense Forces (QEADF) commanders and maintenance officers for any issues or requests relating to Patriot operations or maintenance in Qatar.
In this role you will be responsible for the successful implementation of current Patriot sustainment efforts and provide supervision and mentoring to all Raytheon Field Engineering personnel. And you will report to the Associate Director, Global Patriot Qatar Programs.
This Onsite Accompanied position will be in Doha for this international assignment with additional compensation.
Responsibilities to Anticipate
- Lead, guide, and mentor project staff to develop and enhance business and to entrench and improve inter and intra team collaboration to maintain and grow the capability and capacity of the team.
- Provide day to day supervision of all Technical Assistance personnel, establishing daily work assignments to insure timely resolution of all QEADF issues and requirements.
- Facilitate continuous improvement, by the design, development, and implementation of projects to create efficiencies within the program.
- Support an environment that promotes sharing of best practice, information, and collaborative behaviors.
- Act in accordance with the company’s Code of Conduct relating to professional organization behavior, maintaining confidentiality and health and safety.
- Act as the primary interface between the Depot/Site personnel and OCONUS based program management office for all issues related to Patriot sustainment.
- Develop effective relationships with both US Office of Military Cooperation (OMC) and Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD), and Qatar Emiri Air Defense Forces (QEADF) customers.
- Focus on operating strategies and operational excellence, including productivity and supply chain management.
- Support development and implementation strategies to efficiently plan a Follow-On Sustainment Case.
- Develop long-range operational goals for Qatar Patriot Depot by identifying internal and external operating issues that could affect implementation and productivity.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years’ experience.
- Successfully completed the Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Mechanic Course for MOS 27X/34S/94S/916A/918D conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or an equivalent course of instruction conducted by the Patriot Missile System Contractor.
- Experience as an operations manager providing supervision of field engineering personnel and support activities.
- Experience with Patriot Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include Minor Alteration Procedures (MAP) installation and checkout.
- Experience and technical expertise with complex and large weapon systems sustainment.
- Experience in manufacturing, refurbishment and/or field operations management positions.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Patriot depot forward maintenance.
- Experience with depot industry or LEAD operations.
- Experience as a previous expatriate.
- Experience in working with US Government customers: IFMC, Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE), Integrated Fires Capabilities Office (IFRCO), and Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD).
- Experience developing strategies for and/or executing program Sustainment efforts (Technical Assistance, Spares, R&R, Depot, Training, Logistics).
- Ability to be collaborative and an effective member of an international cross-functional team.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD – 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
