Job Purpose: 

 

To perform shift operation activities to run the plant to produce the required production quality & quantity as per the operation standard procedures and SHEM procedures & standards. Also to take all EHSS and equipment monitoring actions to prevent EHSS incident or equipment’s failures. Behave proactive & conduct patrolling to assure plant safety, security & equipment conditions.

 

 Key Accountabilities: 

 

1- Comply with SHEMs procedures and contribute to achieving target SHE rates as well as comply with quality procedures. Ensures all people working in his area are complying SHEM procedures with right tools &equipment to perform their task safely. Encourages out contract workers safety attitude & behavior. Housekeeping shall be completed for his assign area. Initiate quality eSHEM and enhance EHSS compliance by initiating BBS culture.

2- Complies with the procedure, SOP, checklist, data log sheets etc. Knows the significance of on-line process analyzers and PQA result on product quality and take corrective action accordingly. Collects various unit process samples as per schedule and deliver samples to PQA on a routine basis or as per requirements. Reports any failure in Quality to supervisor & fills trouble report.

3- Keep Plant Shift Supervisor/ Lead Operator informed of all SHE incidents, Key plant operational problems/ concerns and plant & equipment performance parameters during the shift. Review the last 24 hours operations performance

and communicates to his supervisor about any abnormality in his area.

4- Utilize provided all the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Guidelines, Written and Verbal instructions. Proposes changes to operating practices and procedures without any failure forth betterment and speedy completion of work. Regularly perform the unit survey/ patrolling to ensure safety & reliability of the unit equipment, defines any problem clearly, try to solve it & informs supervisor immediate for actions.

5- Receives priority jobs from the Panel operator such as any valve, pipeline or equipment plug etc. Completes routine checks of the concerned field, searching for gas leaks, hydrocarbon leaks, and abnormal noises. Checks temperature, pressure, flow and all other parameters. Checks scrap generation inside plant, scrap bag changes time to time & reports to supervisor.

 

Requirements:  

 

High School with minimum 10 years or Diploma with minimum 4 years of experience in petrochemical plants.
