OVERVIEW

Responsible for dealing with all government authorities enabling GAL to employ personnel whilst complying with current UAE employment laws. Primary contact for Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization department, Abu Dhabi Health and Abu Dhabi Pension Fund Authority maintaining GAL’s trade license, registering employees for future pensions (UAE nationals) and obtaining visas for employees and their families.

Also will be responsible for:

1. Procures all visas (new, renewals, transfers and cancellation) for GAL staff and their families in a timely manner.
2. Provides advice to all GAL employees on all matters relating to obtaining visas for their dependents.
3. Maintains records related to visas for employees and dependents.
4. Obtains Labor contracts for all employees.
5. Ensures registration of UAE nationals with Pension Authority.
6. Updates by himself on current rules and regulations relating to the UAE Immigration and Labor laws and advises HR Services Officer accordingly.
7. Provides assistance for translation and attestation for documents/certificates needed for visas, if required.
8. Assists new employees with any queries in regards to their Medical Fitness Reports and accompanies them to SEHA if necessary.
9. Ensures validity of GAL’s company trade license and all kind of registrations with government and customers.
10. Assists the HR Services Office in obtaining proper clearances for departing employees.
11. To be available 24 hours on call for any emergency cases.
12. To represent GAL on every governmental & non-governmental appointment on time.
13. To support all HR units with any updates from any governmental sectors on HR related laws.
14. To deliver and receive official documents & applications on time and record the receipt.
15. Provide general support to GAL visitors.
16. Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients / customers.
17. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION

 

 - Completion of Secondary education (12 years).
– Diploma preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

 - Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
