Role Purpose

The Middle East Regional People Coordinator, will be responsible for delivering a variety of People Services to the business in the Middle East. 

The purpose of the role will be to provide local support on People matters from individual Country Visa requirements through to recruitment and onboarding, and advice on absence/performance management, linking into the wider People Operating Model for support with more complex cases.

 

 Key responsibilities

  • Support the local business with new starter process. Liaising with the relevant internal functions and external partners to provide a seamless onboarding.
  • Provide local talent acquisition support, from position and requisition creation, to sourcing candidates and supporting the assessment and offer process.
  • Maintain immigration/visa knowledge, ensuring all relevant documents are obtained, transferred to relevant external parties, and individuals are kept up to date with the process.
  • Support the processing of leavers/resignations and retirements in ME
  • Provide advice to the local business on Visa quotas and anticipated recruitment requirements to ensure we maintain the relevant country specific quotas.
  • Support the wider People CoEs with regards to Benefits management, medical coverage etc
  • Provide effective People Case management to support colleagues and managers in achieving its goals and increase employee experience.
  • Support the HRSSC with employer references, AskHR tickets, other projects and suggestions for improvement
  • Ensure all People related paperwork is maintained effectively, and filed in accordance with GDPR regulations.
  • Support the business and wider People team on local compliance & employee relations issues including disputes and other legal employment matters.
  • Support local performance management cases to improve consistency and ensure workplace cases are managed to appropriate timescales, drawing on the wider People Relations team for more complex cases.
  • Provide local advice to stakeholders through effective case management by using data, insights, and statistics.
  • Provide an added value to the business by picking up assigned cases via C4C in the agreed timeline and manage the service to the agreed service catalogue overview
  • Provide operation support on organisational redesign; change; etc in the Middle East.
  • Provide advice & guidance on terms & conditions of employment ensuring compliance and employee relations are maintained and enhanced progressively.
  • Mitigate risks including sensitive events through enquiries/inquiries allowing workflow efficiencies and employee experiences.
  • Take appropriate action where necessary in addressing employees’ urgent matters

 

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements

  • Qualified HR Professional with proven knowledge in generalist People (HR) Case Management
  • Experience in conflict resolutions and manage complex cases, especially in Middle East would be an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • High relationship management skills with ability to work with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Experience in policy management including researching, analysing, and reviewing policies.
  • Willingness to be flexible regarding different time zones.
  • Outstanding MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment and tact dealing with confidential and sensitive matters
  • Authentic interpersonal, intercultural and networking skills
  • Effective internal stakeholder engagement and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
