Mathematics Teacher

As a key member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to engage and challenge students in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 mathematics, fostering a love for the subject and nurturing academic excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to the needs and abilities of students in KS3 and KS4.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters critical thinking skills.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the design and implementation of a cohesive mathematics curriculum.
• Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or queries.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 level, with a track record of achieving positive outcomes for students.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm for mathematics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
