The Marketing Executive will assist the Manager in the daily duties and handling social media accounts as well as local marketing activations focusing on F&B and Rooms to drive revenue and awareness. The incumbent will execute content on social media and assist in driving and developing content production including video/reels creations, assisting photo and video shoots, distributing information on the hotel’s various platforms  

 

As a Marketing Executive, we rely on you to,

 

  • Assist in the monthly Food & Beverage calendar devised by the Marketing and Communications Manager in line with F&B goals for the respective outlets in support of the Director of Marketing and Communications’ annual hotel marketing strategies.
  • To be present and serve as a marketing representative for dining and promotional events and share these experiences on all relevant social channels and other relevant key platforms and media
  • Communicates all promotions in a timely and professional manner to both the Director of Marketing & Communication and outlet managers by establishing weekly meetings and is responsible for their recording and distribution as well as follow-up.
  • Day-to-day management of content including planning and execution of social media calendars and responding to all messages in a timely manner
  • Provide support to Marketing team including print, digital and other requirements as defined, working with external agencies and internal stakeholders 
  • Assisting in writing briefs for flyers, promotions and other marketing collaterals as required by the hotel
  • Managing and compile all the media clippings and reports as requested by the Director of Marketing and Communications and in line with the Group on a monthly or quarterly period. This applies to print, online and social media coverage
  • Maintain, update and grow various databases for marketing purposes
  • Provide Arabic translations for required marketing collaterals on a daily basis for social media, promotional materials

 

 

 What we are Looking For

 

  • Bachelor in marketing & Communications or related field
  • This position is meant for Omani Nationals only.
  • Excellent English and Arabic (fluent in speaking and writing)
  • Must have at least 2 years of hotel marketing and social media experience
  • Has experience in managing independently social media channels and creation of content
  • Experience in photo and video content creation is a plus
  • Able to work independently, professionally and be a good team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organisational skills, disciplined and time management
