Managing a facility of 11,500 Sqm ensuring that the facility is properly maintained and that all equipment is functioning correctly. The facility must be monitored for compliance with all safety regulations and the staff are trained accordingly. Ensure that any accidents or incidents are reported and addressed promptly to keep the facility in optimal condition.

·       Develop new systems, procedures and structure that will ensure smooth operation at the warehouse.

·       Identify need and devise solutions for more analytical, automated management at the warehouse in sync with Retail operations at HIA.

·       Develop and Manage stock handling SOPs to ensure that’s stock is moved and stored correctly and rotated according to FIFO principles in order to minimise losses as a result of breakages, damages and shelf-life impacts.

·       Manage all warehousing aspects of critically sensitive speciality food business to ensure sufficient, high-quality temperature-controlled storage is available at all times.

·       Develop and implement new resources to improve efficiency and reduce cost without compromising service levels at the QDF Warehouse.

·       Supervise administrative management of warehouse functions and ensure required resource availability.

·       Set policy and guidelines for administrative handling of warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with all Customs and Excise Legislation.

·       Delivers regular team briefings (Weekly / daily as required) to provide clarity, direction and warehouse performance updates, discuss issues and actively seeks employee feedback regarding business/HR issues, and identify any potential risks.

·       Recognize and reward innovation within company guidelines for employees to come up with new ideas and solutions, share feedback to help staff refine their concepts and celebrate success for those who come up with successful ideas.

·       Overseeing Storage at Sea Port for Sea Freight Deliveries.

·       Overseeing Consolidation of all 3rd party deliveries for concession outlets.

·       Ensure deliveries of stock are received and dispatched in line with company procedures

·       Manage the Return to Vendor process and ensure compliance to Customs and Excise Legislation.

·       Identify and handle discrepancies (E.g. Claims for missing items from suppliers) notify the Supply chain planning team as appropriate

·       Ensure sufficient stock is transferred to Sub Store to support local promotions, in line with Operations Manager specifications

Qualifications

About you

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

·       High School / Vocational Qualification / Diploma plus minimum 9 years of relevant job-related experience; or

·       Bachelor Degree or equivalent plus minimum 8 years of relevant job-related experience

Preferred skills and experience:

·       8 to 10 Years’ experience with at least 3 years at Senior Manager level.

·       Inventory Management in a rapidity growing multi-cultural environment is required, including replenishment, pricing and analysis (Or equivalent)

·       Proven track record in the ability to manage stock on a day-to-day basis

·       Direct hands-on experience with a range of WMS (Warehouse Management System) operating systems.

·       Working knowledge of the Region and specific legislation requirements

·       Experience of managing end to end Supply chains.

·       Experience of managing a Warehouse operation within the Travel retail industry

·       Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.

·       Ability to organise and prioritise tasks on regular basis

·       Strong analytical skills and understanding of statistical process control

·       Strong problem solver

·       Excellent Written and oral communications skills

·       Well-developed lateral and analytical thinking skills

·       Strong commitment to confidentiality

·       Strong people manager, able to lead a professional team
