The Quality & Engineering Manager is responsible for all the Quality Control management functions related to the customer’s aviation assets. The QC Manager assist the Program Manager/OPS Manager in all Quality Control management related activities to successfully support customer mission requirements. The QC Manager is the advisor for the Companys Aviation Maintenance Managers and Company’s top management. The Quality Control Manager promotes, develops, and oversees compliance of the company quality management system. The QC Manager effectively ensures complete and accurate compliance of all customer requirements by managing the quality policies, standards, procedures, programs and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement within the quality management system.

Also will be responsible for:

1. Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate personnel of the QC department to contribute to the objectives, vision and strategy of the organization to support operations and improvements by ensuring compliance with the customer requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory and external standards.
2. Collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information, problem solve, clarify management objectives, plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.
3. Develop and implement new systems, best practices, demand planning, and other optimizations in order enhance continuous quality improvement.
4. Understand customers’ needs, service those needs, and maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to quality activities.
5. Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of Quality Control staff.
6. Manage contractor and subcontractor activities, review proposals, develop performance specifications, and serving as a liaison with outside organizations.
7. Direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in Quality Control related duties.
8. Establish quality procedures, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against key performer indicators.
9. Ensure the executions of daily business are being complied with applicable references and standard operational procedures (SOP). Determine the need for perform all works and duties at high quality level including equipment, training, software, personnel, etc.
10. The QC Manager will be responsible for all associated administrative responsibilities associated with this position and may have other duties as assigned.
11. Implement and practice standards of service quality and operational programs to maintain maximum operational productivity and efficiency without lowering quality standards.
12. Conduct root cause / corrective action investigations using appropriate procedures ensure safe, reliable, on-time; airworthy aircraft are available to support customer requirements.
13. Advise and approve maintenance procedures, repair schemes, drawings, guidance and standard procedure issue by Support and Analysis Engineering Section, to ensure quality control objectives are defined and met.
14. Monitor and oversee Technical Publications and workshops sections and ensures the completeness and accuracy of all processes are adhered to and provide necessary guidance when required.
