ENOWA plans to utilize various technologies, including large-scale solar PV, wind power, pump hydro-station, geothermal energy, and clean-fuel gas turbines – as an integrated decentralized solution to meet the increased electricity demands due to a high degree of electrification. 

The candidate will work on projects involving these technologies and various execution strategies, with construction starting in August 2024 and continuing through 2030.

Expectations

 

The Enterprise Asset Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of all physical assets across multiple conventional and renewable energy projects. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to maximize asset value, ensure reliability, reduce costs, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Approach (Roles & Responsibilities)

  • The resource will develop and execute asset management strategies and plans to optimize asset utilization and performance and will oversee the implementation of asset management systems and tools to track asset performance and maintenance.
  • The resource will lead cross-functional teams to improve asset lifecycle management processes.
  • The resource will coordinate with project and operations teams to align asset management practices with project objectives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to asset management. He/she will provide training and support to staff on asset management best practices.
  • The resource will manage asset risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies and report regularly to senior management on asset performance and improvement initiatives.
  • The resource will analyse asset data to inform maintenance decisions and capital investment.
  • The resource will prepare and manage the asset management budget and financial forecasts, in coordination with the finance and control functions.

Experience and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in asset management is highly desirable.
  • At least 7 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the energy sector, with a proven track record of managing complex asset portfolios.
  • Knowledge of asset management, monitoring and predictive maintenance software and solutions for several conventional and/or renewable energy technologies and/or understanding of digital integration finalized to performance management and reporting are a strong advantage.
