Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Maintenance/Quality Supervisor, seconded to our Client from government sector in Doha, Qatar.

 

This role is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance Inspectors for effective execution of Client’s inspection program.

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Managing and scheduling resources, validating inspection reports, and providing guidance and support to the maintenance inspection team to ensure high standards of maintenance and safety are upheld.
  • Validating inspection reports and ensure accurate and timely submission to management.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to Maintenance Inspectors.
  • Overseeing the execution of high-priority inspections, including incident-related and high-risk area assessments.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure inspections align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensuring all team members are adequately trained and comply with safety standards.
  • Reporting to senior management on inspection findings and propose actions for improvement.
  • Promoting continuous improvement on the inspection methodology based on the learnings on a periodic basis.
  • Liaising with respective team to ensure the findings are highlighted and addressed.
  • Utilising all the available tools to optimise the inspection.
  • Performing risk analysis on inspections findings to prioritize actions.
  • Ensuring the inspection team operates effectively and meets performance targets.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the inspection team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include minimum 10+ years in maintenance inspection or a related supervisory role partnered with Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering fields or equivalent.

 

  • Experience in Railway industry (preferred).   
  • Functional understanding of all railways technical disciplines e.g. Rollingstock, Signalling, Telecommunication, MEP, HVAC, Fire Life Safety System, Track etc. would be highly advantageous.
