Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Maintenance/Quality Inspector, seconded to our Client from government sector in Doha, Qatar.

 

This role is responsible for providing an additional layer of assurance to complement the Client’s assurance activities.

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Investigating and inspecting high-risk or incident-prone areas, reporting findings and proposing necessary actions.
  • Validating maintenance work orders and data against actual site conditions.
  • Carrying out site assessment of high-risk areas/prone stations following incidents or as need basis.
  • Evaluating the quality of maintenance being undertaken or conducted by the Service Provider ensuring compliance with approved maintenance documentation.
  • Ensuring that maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Conducting routine and emergency inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • Identifying signs of wear, malfunctions, or potential safety hazards.
  •  Coordinating with maintenance teams to execute the inspection program allocated by the Inspector supervisor.
  • Evaluating the condition of equipment and systems to determine the need for repairs or replacements.  Ensuring all inspections are conducted in compliance with safety standards, and promptly report any safety hazards or non- compliance issues.
  • Maintaining detailed records of inspection results, maintenance activities witnessed, findings and intervention history.
  • Preparing and submitting reports on inspection findings, maintenance issues, and completed work.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance / Quality Inspector role partnered with National diploma or degree preferred in engineering fields or equivalent.

 

  • Experience in Railway industry (preferred).   
  • Functional understanding of all railways technical disciplines e.g. Rollingstock, Signalling, Telecommunication, MEP, HVAC, Fire Life Safety System, Track etc. would be highly advantageous.
