Work in Kuwait is contingent upon the applicant’s ability to obtain a work permit from the State of Kuwait, which is requested on the applicant’s behalf by their employer.  Effective January 1, 2021, the Kuwait Public Authority of Manpower issued new work permit regulations, informing contractors that it will not issue a work permit to any individual who is fifty-nine (59) years or older and holds a high school grade certificate or less.  A bachelor’s degree or higher is required for all candidates fifty-nine (59) years or older. See Administrative Decision No. (520) of 2020 AD – Amendment to the Administrative Decision No. (552) of 2018 on Issuing the Work Permit Regulations.  Candidates with a current Visa 18 (residency visa) are excluded from the education requirement. 

 

Purpose: Performs mission/resource analysis in direct coordination with the Supply, Maintenance, and Transportation department to ensure supporting requirements and implied tasks are accomplished within the outlined standards and timelines.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring all planning data is compiled and replicated in support of Current and Future Operations.

Prepare and disseminate all initial mission analysis for all missions/taskers.

Responsible for preparation of Common Operating Picture (COP) slides to depict ongoing mission statuses and report to the Government daily.

Ensure specific mission/project benchmark goals are identified and attained.

Responsible for ensuring program logistics resources (Supply, Transportation, and Maintenance) can adequately support each mission requirement.

With the use of MDMP, assist in the development of Concept of Support/Course of Action briefs, APS-5 Set Annual Issue Exercise requirements, and issue plans IAW contract requirements.

Track and analyze Taskers, operational activities, and department metrics.

Assist with the coordination of multiple mission requirements including APS Set Readiness.

Assist with the sustainment program through operational analysis, operational planning, maintenance & readiness reporting.

Serve as the liaison between all departments to achieve a cohesive end result.

Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

 

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates degree in Logistics or equivalent highly preferred.  

 

Experience:

5 years of related civilian or military experience 

U.S. Army Logistics MOS preferred.

 

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and equipment management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective accountability of all assigned property.

Thorough knowledge of analytical techniques and causative research skills to identify areas of needed emphasis to recommend improvements.

Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Must have an intermediate level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.

Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.

Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.

Knowledge of AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2, AR735-5, Army Supply documentation, and other applicable regulations.

Preferred working knowledge of the Global Combat Support System (GCSS-Army), various Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) applications, and other approved automated property accountability systems.

 

Certification, License & Clearance:

Secret Clearance is required.

U.S. Citizenship required.

 

Active Clearance is required: Must have an active Tier 3 Secret U.S. Government clearance. 

Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Tier 3 Secret clearance. 

 

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:

Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.

Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
