We are looking for a Logistics Officer.
The job responsibilities are the following:
- Manage and lead the Finished Goods team: planning of the resources needed (timing, absenteeism management), establish the way of working (definition of OPLs, procedure, standards), train to the FG team (polyvalence, competency matrix, forklift license), ensure the rules are followed and motivate the team
- Shipment of product: check for quantity and ensure it is the right product, do the follow up in Navision (follow the standard)
- FG storage and reception from the production with recording of the movements in Navision
- Interface with production and with shipments: management of the lead times, the emergencies
- Interface with the commercial team: lead times, priorities, special packaging…
- Manage the priorities for the customers
- Book the transports and do a follow up
- Manage the stock of packaging and the preparation of wooden drums
- Manage the stock of consumables: drum protection wood, nails, Lamiflex, paint…
- Return from customers: pick up at the customer’s, Navision recording, storage of the returned cable in the right place according to the reason of the return
- Ensure the reliability of the data recorded in Navision related to the inventory. Objective: avoid inventory discrepancy.
- Cycle counting of inventory: planning and follow up
- Organize transportation finished goods with forwarders to customer
- Ensure the material is used in a proper way (forklift, computers…) and do 1st level maintenance
- Organize the inventory according to the frequency of use and safety
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Experience in Logistics and Planning Department
- Ability to manage, decide, innovate, communicate, solve problems
- Customer oriented, “costs†oriented
- Language: must speak English
- Teamwork skills
