Summary
HII – Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to be assigned to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the supply chain and logistics operations in Qatar. You will coordinate with logistics and warehouse operations and employees to direct daily supply chain operations. This person will also Ensure timely receipt of products from supplier in accordance with purchase order requirements while ensuring the monitoring and management of all logistics functions and optimal inventory levels are maintained.
In addition to your base salary this role will provide assistance with housing and other necessitates required to reside in Qatar.
What You Will Do
- Be responsible for submitting requests, tracking and receiving material in order to perform all maintenance, repairs, and service calls IAW procedures established by ECONS. This will require use of approved inventory management system and work order management system, to requisition, track, handle, and issue material.
- Prepare purchase request documents and micro-purchases to support existing and forecasted requirements.
- Provides in-depth analysis of transportation costs, parts procurement, backorders, and delivery procedures.
- Implements Activity Register and tracks product flow from origin to final delivery.
- Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
- Track all material requisitions throughout entirety of the acquisition process until the materials have arrived and been issued. This will also include tracking, maintaining, organizing and cleaning warehouse space.
- Use inventory control procedures, examine and determine shortage, quantities, document daily deliveries analyze and make recommendations of suppliers, update systems and reports, and any other duties as assigned.
- Conduct all job duties outlined in PWS to ensure professional and quality services are provided to Customer in accordance with program requirements, while maintaining safety as the highest priority IAW PWS, laws, codes, guidelines, criteria and standards established by international, US government, PWS and any additional guidelines.
- Be available within 4 hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel as required.
What We Are Looking For
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Purchasing and requisitioning non-standard, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) material.
- Transportation, International Shipping, and Import/Export Procedures.
- Requires strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and current passport.
- US Citizenship is required
- Must have the ability to successfully pass CENTCOM medical requirements.
- Must be able to obtain a Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
- Clearance: Must have possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Preferred: Bonus Points For…
- Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities in an OCONUS environment.
- Relevant overseas experience, preferably in the Middle East with knowledge of local culture and customs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.
