Overall responsibilities include:

  • Manage the Supply Chain interdependencies & Demand Planning between Sales, Planning, Customer Service, Warehousing & Distribution and the Customers.
  • Penetrate the assigned customer’s buying and logistics organization, build relationships with key stake holders, and collaborate to drive innovative supply chain programs and continual improvement.
  • Maximize product availability with key customers by running seasonal projects in collaboration with Customers Supply Chain Organization in synchronization with Arla Supply Chain to achieve combine business results.  
  • Understand customer expectations on KPIs, scorecard Arla performance, and develop action plans for improvement with CS Team.                                         
  • Develop customer services strategies and identify, plan and secure implementation of activities in line with company’s vision.
  • Develop and build long-term relationships with the customers through efficient communication and monthly meetings with external & internal stake holders.
  • Analyze weekly & monthly data provided by customers, identify the gaps and make and implement the action plans in coordination with KAMs, Supply Chain & Customer’s CS team.
  • Optimize CS Operations using data to identify issues, risks and opportunities, along with keep the customers updated for any shortages of supply for a specific period.
  • Continuously reviewing of the processes defined for each customer internally and externally, devising and implementing new processes as efficient as possible.
     

Expectations:

  • Ensure that waste is with in the targeted KPI. Plan & execute time lined action plans to mitigate any waste risk to Sales Contribution.
  • Provide customer-focused Supply Chain expertise to all functions of the business (commercial, international, national accounts, packaging & label/end user)
  • Serve as a liaison between our customers, sales, planning, transportation, warehousing and customer service to identify supply chain opportunities to strengthen our position with customers.
  • In alignment with Sales, annually build joint business plans with key customers to consistently maintain healthy inventory levels and improve service while reducing overall supply chain costs.
  • Establish a regular cadence of reviews with key customers to ensure healthy inventory levels on Arla products are maintained.
  • Drive innovation and continual improvement through customer collaboration and experimentation.
  • Analyse data to prioritize programs by potential impact to the bottom line, improvement to service, and reduction in costs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs; scale those that are successful.
  • Leverage technology to automate reporting for inventory reviews with key customers and create system generated KPI score carding that is meaningful to the customer.
  • Stay current on industry trends pertaining to inventory and distribution.

Your background:
 

  • Demonstrable track record of exceptional performance in a Supply Chain function within FMCG for 03 years.
  • Ideally have worked as Supply Chain Lead, although exceptional candidates from other commercial functions would be considered.
  • You are interested in, and have successfully demonstrated in the past, building strong business relationships.
  • You get energy from delivering strong results, you are ambitious and love delivering ahead of expectations.
  • You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications mainly MS-Excel.
  • You have academic/higher education equivalent to bachelor’s level.
