Logistic Specialist – Safat

We’re now looking to grow our team in the Middle East and Africa with a dedicated Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be a key supporter to the work of the Supply Planner, ensuring smooth and integrated supply chain operations.

 

Manage, Develop, and Optimize the Logistics Process

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for handling our logistics process with attention to detail and an eye for improvement. You’ll keep inventory and sales data up to date, track shipments accurately, and coordinate with the Clearance team on customs and arrive on time. Working with the warehouse staff, you’ll help create a more efficient and reliable logistics ways of working. Your work will provide the necessary support for our Supply Planner, allowing to build forecasts and inventory planning that are informed by the latest information.

Ad-hoc duties will also call upon your flexibility and problem-solving skills, as you address claims, manage PO variations, oversee material creation, and facilitate document acquisition for the sales and food safety teams.

 

Solid Experience in Operational Logistics and Data Management

Your background includes strong experience in the day-to-day operations of logistics and a talent for working with data. With at least two years in the field, preferably in the FMCG sector, you are skilled in using Excel and knowledgeable in SAP. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Your proactive nature and results-oriented mindset are essential, as is your ability to collaborate effectively with the Supply Planner and the wider logistics and commercial team.
