Lead Cargo Security Agent- QAS Cargo

Assist in implementing the department’s security policy to ensure the department is compliant with security legislation and perform functions to ensure secure supply chain of Doha originating and transfer cargo. The role will contribute to the overall team effort whose mission is protecting assets, customers and personnel by fostering and practicing duties consistent with the security program.

Operational accountabilities

• Monitor/patrol the facility to ensure that security requirements are being met and implemented.
• Implement security directives and SOPs.
• Investigate security related incidents i.e. theft and prepare concise, accurate reports.
• Provide guidance to third party contract personnel and QAS staff regarding security related activities. Familiarize and execute key principles of the security program to ensure local and international compliance while ensuring a secure supply chain.
• Able to identify and act on risks within the workplace consistent with the company SMS.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years job relevant experience
• Relevant Tertiary, Trade/Vocational Qualification or Diploma.
• Good command in English both written and verbal.
• Computer and system literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
•  Formal training or work-related experience in aviation security.
