Based in Riyadh, the jobholder is the IPP Project Manager in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The jobholder is located in Riyadh within the Airbus Saudi Limited organisation, with a functional reporting line with Airbus DS International and Partnerships team based in Europe, who will provide close guidance on all aspects of the business.

In addition the job holder will work closely with SAAMS IPP Project manager. This is particularly important, given the multiple interdependencies among the various IPP plans of Airbus Defence and Space SAU and SAAMS, both for running contracts and upcoming sales campaigns.

 

Responsibilities / Tasks

 

The jobholder will support day to day implementation and management of the IP Plan, with activities and tasks encompassing 3 dimensions:

 

IC Projects Implementation   (Focus IPP)

  • Steering of the implementation of IC projects in line with contract fulfilment.
  • Development of corrective action plans in case of deviations
  • Identification, as applicable, of replacement IC projects

IC Contract Management (Focus Contracts/ Agreements/ Compliance)

  • Report and control the IC budget (jointly with the obligation holder in programmes)
  • IC Contract Amendments: draft for review in line with TMCI process
  • Beneficiaries Agreements: Industrial Agreements/ MOUs/ NDAs, etc

IC authorities liaison (Customer focus)

  • Management of crediting documentation and reports to Customer  authorities
  • Liaise with local IC authorities
  • Negotiation and approval of Customer contract / projects amendments
  • Assurance of formal closure of IC obligations with Customer Authority

 

Required Skills and experience:

 

  • Education to a degree level in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 3-5 years work experience in managing complex projects
  • Strong organisational and project management / integrative skills
  • High attention to detail and strive for excellence in every deliverable
  • Advanced MS Office and G-Suite skills
  • Negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders and industrial partners
  • Negotiation level in English; Spanish beneficial
  • Other skills: Open-minded, result-oriented, creative, team player, outgoing, flexible
