The IT Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the technology systems that support our hotel operations.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and develop the IT team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • System Management: Oversee the management of hotel technology systems, including property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for hotel staff, resolving issues related to IT systems, software, and hardware.
  • Project Oversight: Manage and implement IT projects, such as system upgrades, new installations, and integration of emerging technologies to enhance guest experience.
  • Security: Ensure the security and integrity of guest data and hotel systems, including adherence to privacy policies and security protocols.
  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions for IT needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in an IT supervisory role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality technology systems, including PMS, POS, and guest Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, guests, and vendors.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific security and data protection standards.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
