We are seeking applicants for the position of Information Security Engineer
in our Qatar Campus.

This position is responsible for engineering and operations aspects of computer security incident response, discovery, examination and testing of new threats, and working with groups internally and externally to the division to ensure that new projects and services meet appropriate levels of security.

Job Responsibilities

1. Respond to computer security incidents. This may entail doing research, scanning
machines, accessing usage logs, etc., to confirm reports.
2. User contact will also be needed in order to inform people of breaches as necessary, and to obtain detailed information.
3. Conduct necessary content preservation, search, and production as well as technical architecture assay to support the eDiscovery needs of the University.
4. Contribute to establishing departmental strategies, policies, and procedures including IT
architecture and infrastructure.
5. Design, install, and manage information security systems for logging, monitoring, access control, audit, etc.
6. Assist with analysis of compromised computers or accounts when appropriate.

Education/Training:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience (as
evidenced by employment history, professional certification, and/or academic
track record) required
2. Experience: 3-5 years of system/software engineering experience.
