IT Project Manager ( Oracle ERP)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Leading design and implementation of Oracle ERP Solutions across Finance and Procurement business functional areas.
• Provide hands on ERP experience for cross functional initiatives including integrations with other Inhouse applications and 3rd party products.
•  Contribute to the development of solution architecture, methodologies and compliance activities.
•  Facilitate the definition of project goals, tasks and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project progress.
• Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments / IT teams to collaborate and design and implement robust ERP solutions and interfaces between applications.
• Provide technical mentoring to the technical leads and review / contribute to the artefacts delivered, including Technical Architecture, Functional and Non-functional requirements, Interface specifications and solution design documents.
• Management of multiple projects simultaneously – some of which will span across multiple business areas.
• Lead platform related projects and ensure maintenance and support (24/7) of ERP platform, working closely with Infrastructure team.
• Manage and drive continuous development of industry-specific accelerators (templates, best practices, automation tools) for faster delivery.
• Interact regularly with business units to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery.
• Ensures that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, sponsors, steering committee and documented appropriately.
•  Implement automation to improve monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of Production systems.
• Document technical risks and issues, and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks and technical debt.
• Ensure system designs are manageable, maintainable, scalable, resilient, sustainable, cost effective whilst addressing business requirements.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Contracts department to ensure timely renewal of Application and technology licenses support.
