RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

  • Participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
  • Checking incoming materials for any defects or flaws that may need to be addressed.
  • Maintain excellence in dispatching, identifying, receiving, and ensuring quality of products.
  • Move requested material from/into manufacturing warehouse to/from a designated workstation in the shop
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in process improvements and quality improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
  • Willingness to assist other teams’ members with other material handling functions, such as but not limited to, Packing.
  • Solve inventory, shipping or receiving issues. Insure a smooth and complete work flow in the warehouse
  • Responsible for the coordination, organization and issuing of inventory & non-inventory items.
  • Monitoring material inventories to ensure that the correct number of materials are always on hand.
  • Perform inventory counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of inventory
  • Co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials to internal and external customers
  • Ensure that the correct inventory transactions are taking place in ERP.
  • Ensure new materials ordered when inventory is low or when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damages.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on pallets, cases, bales, or other containers to ensure no product is located within the facility that is not properly identified.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within Warehouse and Logistics, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse/logistics operation and management
  • Good management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent planning ability, implementation capacity and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Driver’s license
  • Forklift license T1-4, T8 preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and Inventory management systems.
