Our newest opportunity is for a talented Infrastructure Director to join our award winning team in Riyadh, KSA.
The role will focus on providing leadership and management of KEO’s resources for a specific Infrastructure Division regional area and ensuring that the set financial and operational plans and strategies are met. Key to this role will be the responsibility for coordinating business development initiatives, QMS implementation and ensure technical delivery of the highest quality within the branch.
There will also be an emphasis on partnering with the technical leaders, for technical resource planning, recruiting and management to ensure that the technical capabilities of the branch meet current and future project needs.
The successful candidate will also be a member of the Division’s management team with shared responsibility for setting and implementing the business’ strategic goals and direction.
Responsibilities
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Providing input to the Infrastructure Division’s global and business strategies and performance targets.
- Preparing an annual business plan for the regional area.
- Achieving the overall operational and financial strategy and performance targets of the regional area.
- Ensuring that the QMS is effectively implemented.
- Overseeing contract negotiations, management of variation orders, disputes and claims.
- Representing the Firm in communications with the Client, Sub-Contractors and JV partners, serving as ambassador for the KEO brand.
- Seeking to identify potential new clients, markets, and projects. Cultivating client relationships, prepare proposals, and contribute to the growth of the infrastructure projects portfolio in the regional area.
- Continually assessing technical skills versus needs and implements measures to ensure optimal technical capability of the regional team. Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in infrastructure engineering
- Driving performance through leading a team of professional employees towards achievement of strategic objectives.
- Analysing existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies cost-effectiveness and service improvements.
- Coordinating monthly reporting and project reviews.
- Overseeing all project execution and contractual matters within the branch, in consultation with project leaders and technical leaders.
- Partnering with the relevant team leaders, assists in hiring and training of staff.
- Creating a culture of effective communication, consultation, and collaboration within the regional team, and with other KEO divisions.
- Fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Representing senior KEO leadership to regional team, regularly communicating messages that motivate, inform and energise the team.
- Creating a culture of learning consistent with corporate objectives and values.
- Identifying appropriate solutions to complex issues by applying strategic management tools.
- Defining and ensuring execution of business strategies to optimise the performance of the business unit in terms of delivery to the Client and quality standards in all work outputs.
- Creating a continuous focus on health and safety and sustainable development in all aspects of delivery and ensures the provision of a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 20 years work experience partnered with a with a Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline (Masters is preferred).
Professional registration e.g. Chartered Engineer (UK) or PE (USA). PMP certification. Full (Corporate) Membership of an Internationally recognized professional Institution i.e. C. Eng. M.I.C.E. or P.E.) PMP Certification would be advantageous.
