This function involves the overall management and administration of all the company’s process activities, including the manufacturing facility’s, technical and process optimization engineering functions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:

  • Coordinate and manage activities concerned with technical developments and technical improvement processes in all the facilities. Manufacturing, Engineering Documentation, Planning and Scheduling, Product qualification, Facility and Operation support.
  • Strong aptitude in manufacturing and operation processes. Ability to work on ideas and improvements.
  • Continuous improvement activities for manufacturing, working with all departments and other business Units.
  • Support manufacturing processes to ensure reliability and production efficiency.
  • Participate in the prototype and production launch of new products from a manufacturing perspective.
  • Review current manufacturing processes, equipment, and capabilities to determine the feasibility and resources required to run proto-types.
  • Design, draft, and document new and existing equipment and products
  • Revise and control prints and bills of materials for Products.
  • Submit bills of materials for review and costing.
  • Generate quotes.
  • Planned raw materials based on projects, forecasts, lead time, etc.
  • Production scheduling based on resources, capacity, and capability.
  • Resource planning – Manpower, Machinery, and Material Qualification.
  • Prepare reports based on actuals and efficiencies.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades
  • Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
  • Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Work with Quality Assurance and Engineering to provide support to customers regarding product-related  opportunities or issues
  • Interface with Engineering/Product Development to schedule and monitor necessary testing and development support.
  • Create a Bill of Quantities, develop a project budget and time frame, and identify critical elements.
  • Create project timeline and monitor progress reports. Prepare and present project updates to the Management Team.
  • Serve as operation field support for the operation team, including but not limited to technical-based troubleshooting of equipment, modifications of existing equipment, and installation of new equipment.
  • Liaisons between departments for smooth operation.
  • Understand Product and system Code and its implementation.
  • Industrial Statutory and regulatory compliances.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Flexible, accepting, and responding to multi-task assignments quickly and readily.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and technical-/ project management experience. (Essential)
  • Anticipate to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions, and take appropriate actions.
  • Experience with composites products and equipment a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. (Essential)

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in oil and gas sector
  • Training in Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems and technologies.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic a plus
