IFEC Quality Officer

As a IFEC Quality Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Line Manager to manage Oryx One IFEC product overall strategy by ensuring Qatar Airways remains at the forefront of IFE product offering to its diverse passenger demographic. The emphasis will be to continually evaluate and asses the performance of movies, TV programs, audio, games, interactive GUI designs, apps, boarding music, airshow moving maps, TVCs, PAs and IFE logistics.

As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Updating all IFE related digital touch points with the necessary new assets as per the monthly media requirements including all onboard IFE systems, IFE website, OryxOne app and streaming platforms.
• Liaise with all relevant stakeholders for the provision of QR digital assets and associated documents to ensure timely implementation onboard Qatar Airways various IFE systems onboard.
• Coordination with IFE OEMs and CSPs to manage IFE content operational requirements.
• Support Line Manager in quality checks of Software application testing protocols (ATP), and ensure timely rollout of Software to all operational passenger fleets by coordinating with the suppliers and IFE Engineering team to ensure effective alignment to schedule.
• Post any software update on aircraft, conduct a thorough examination of the entire Connectivity Portal, text / pages on the connectivity portal and meticulously compare it to the original portal and provide the feedback to the management.
• Research and be up-to-date with best practices in global IFE content offering, pricing models, innovations and partnerships etc, and assist in selection and evaluation of latest IFE related products and projects.
• Guide and monitor the work-scope of staff supporting IFE content logistics and operations.
• Management of external suppliers and QR internal stakeholders to ensure adequate administrative support for facilitation of contract amendments, CMCs POs,etc.
• Proactively engage with Manager to take on additional job-related responsibilities.

Qualifications

About you

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Product Development and Design Team.

• Minimum qualification of High school/ Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential
• 4+ years of job-related experience
• Preferably with previous experience working in a media and entertainment company
• Have extensive knowledge with administration and coordination
• Must be pro-active and have very good attention to detail
• Have very good written and verbal communication skills
• Well versed with Microsoft Office software
