IBM DataPower Administrator

We are looking for 8+ years of experienced IBM API DataPower Administrators

Responsibilities include:

• Install DataPower and firmware upgrades as needed
• Managing the deployment of XSLT, XSD’s and WSDL’s
• Configuring and supporting dynamic routing, configure load balancing in DataPower, configure SSL/TLS connections
• Monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting DataPower issues
• File management, DP Extension functions
• Creating Users, domains, access restrictions
• Setup Production, QA and DR environments
• Developing and maintaining documentation and procedures for IBM DataPower Gateway X3 administration.

Certifications :

• IBM Certified Solution Implementer – DataPower Gateway

Primary Skills :

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT industry
• Minimum 4 years of experience with IBM EAI tools like IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect (APIC)
• Minimum 2 projects with experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM DataPower Gateway X3 appliances
• Good experience in various DataPower services such as XML, Firewall, Web service proxy, and Multi-Protocol Gateway.
• Good experience in implementing authentication, authorization, encryption, SSL in DataPower.
• Good experience in monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues related to DataPower and API traffic.
• Good experience with SSL certificates, cryptographic objects, and security configurations on DataPower devices
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to design and implement API policies and security configurations.
• Must have experience in OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT and SSO
• Must have knowledge in Load balancers, firewalls, DMZ and other network concepts related to DataPower.
• Must have experience in developing XML, JSON, WSDL, XML Schema, XPATH, XSLT and XQuery.
• Good understanding of  infrastructure, security, performance, scalability, reliability and availability

Secondary Skills :

• Experience with cloud service providers like AWS/Azure/GCP
• Strong communication, written, and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
