About the job:

Kent is recruiting for HVAC Team Leader that will be responsible for the actual execution of work assigned to the team including the preparation of necessary documentation of each piece of work associated with COMPANY procedure and safety

1. Primary Objectives

Responsible for the actual execution of work assigned to the team including the preparation of necessary documentation of each piece of work associated with COMPANY procedure and safety.

2. Specific Accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for adhering into COMPANY’s Policies and procedures most specially to the permit system and safety requirements.
  • Ensure HSE requirements are being adhered into and ensure safe, clean and efficient service is exercise and maintained at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with Maintenance Schedule / Plan.
  • Ensure proper execution of the work.
  • Timely execution of the work.
  • Contributes to the development of work schedule other than the current maintenance work or any other work that may be provided by the COMPANY to meet operational needs
  • Supervises work in accordance with the work schedule.
  • Responsible for the proper use of equipment, materials and resources.
  • Focuses team on achievement of maintenance activities as well as timely execution of unplanned activities such as repairs and /or modification due to system’s breakdown.
  • Maintain good working relation with the team as well as to other personnel to ensure proper execution of work.
  • Responsible for conducting tool-box meeting and other coordination.
  • Evaluate risks in all aspect of the work
  • Responsible for conducting JSAs and work safety documentation.
  • Monitors the closure of all identified risks and opportunities.
  • Supervises major overhaul or installation of environmental HVAC systems to assure that work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
  • Conducts a quality check of work in progress or upon completion to assure acceptability.
  • Oversees repair and replacement of faulty thermostats, wiring and controls, and compressors Informs staff in the proper use of tools, and proper work procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance to mechanics when requested.
  • Performs other duties/special assignments as required or to meet the ongoing needs of the department.
  • Execute any other task assigned by immediate supervisor

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Qualification/ Certification:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Course in HVAC

Communication:

Excellent oral and written communication and skills.

Core Competencies:

· Strong Interpersonal Skills

· Ability to Multi-task/Time Management

· Excellent Written and Oral English Communication skills
