  • AMarmi Engineering Co. W.L.L., a leading name in Qatar’s construction and design sector, seeks an experienced and proactive Human Resources Specialist. This role is crucial for developing and enhancing our workforce, ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain the best talents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, supporting our business needs, and ensuring the proper implementation of the company’s people strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a competitive market.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes.

Training and Development:

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs that ensure staff are equipped to meet the company’s goals.
  • Support the personal and professional development of our workforce.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments to determine measures required to protect workers.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Culture and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or HR Manager, preferably in the construction, engineering, or design industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR metrics and HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
