SGS is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Human Resources Business Partner in Qatar. As an HRBP, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive working environment, developing a skilled workforce, and excelling in people management. This role involves collaborating with line managers to establish strong partnerships, facilitating adherence to HR policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, identifying opportunities for updates and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and implement employee engagement strategies that create a positive and inclusive workplace.
  • Lead the performance management process, including performance reviews, feedback, development plans, and coaching.
  • Provide expert advice and adeptly manage employee relations issues, contributing to the cultivation of a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance team management by creating and implementing strategies that improve employee satisfaction and foster long-term retention.
  • Stay well-informed about labor laws and regulations in Qatar to ensure the company’s full compliance.
  • Maintain and update organizational structures and job descriptions to reflect current requirements.
  • Support recruitment activities (if required), and oversee the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Update and maintain the HR SharePoint with all necessary data, forms, and relevant information.
  • Support payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulations.
  • Handle the final exit process with efficiency, ensuring compliance and facilitating a smooth transition for departing employees.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the HR strategy, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of progressive experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within multinational organizations.
  • 4-8 years of progressive HR experience in different functions, with a strong understanding of Qatar’s labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement and performance management.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, Arabic would be advantage.
  • Strong administrative, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic about creating a positive workplace culture.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
