Health Information Technician

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organise patient health records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Use coding systems for classification of diagnoses and procedures for insurance and billing purposes.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve the efficiency and integrity of health information systems.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
• Knowledge of medical coding systems and electronic health records.
