DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Head of Growth – OFR in Saudi Arabia. As the Country Head of OFR Growth, you will be responsible for the overall OFR growth initiatives. You will be the individual guide to the country pricing strategy required to achieve the growth ambition and will drive execution, including the development of relevant value propositions and solutions design to support the growth.

Furthermore, in this role you will be responsible for aligning and setting a clear direction for OFR growth in collaboration with the M&S organization. This includes all sales channels – CSI/MNC/SBC, BC, and digital. Driving the product commercial organization around OCC and RDM structures, where applicable.

In this Head of Growth – OFR position:

 

  • You will be driving volume growth across all OFR products in close coordination with OFR country management and country product heads. Together with Regional Trade Management, drive the focus on trade lanes and countries as per Trade Lane growth plan.
  • Regarding OCC, you will:
    • Lead OFR pricing activities and ensure pricing efficiency and competitiveness for all ocean freight related sub-products.
    • Oversee all large tenders running through the OCC specialists as part of the global RFQ process and ensure efficient execution with all stakeholders.
    • Drive automation within the Tender management set up.
    • Spearhead RFQ analytics to improve win ratios.
    • Drive risk-taking analysis & proposals to deliver country growth targets.
    • Simplify country led RFQ’s to increase efficiency.
    • Drive STP on tender business.
  • You will act as the Senior person for commercial product engagement by:
    • Driving senior commercial product engagement with a focal point of country product development.
  • For the BC Segment, you will be:
    • Responsible for the country growth structure and country RDM structure (RDM where applicable)
    • Drive development and execution of local trade lane plans via OFR FS Major across all    OFR products, according to focus Trade lanes defined by Trade Management
    • Drive target customer definition from a product and/or trade perspective together with local OFR product heads, Trade Management and M & S
    • Drive STP within the BC segment with M & S
  • You will coordinate and align the commercial approach for all OFR products together with M & S including:
    • Country focal point for M & S
    • Ensure process alignment together with M & S within the country.
    • Align M&S activities across the country as relevant to OFR product.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the OFR forwarding industry.
  • Well versed in working for a multinational company and a large corporation.
  • Seasoned leader with successful track record.
  • Good customer contacts.
  • Clear result orientation and commercial mindset.
  • Strategic but action-oriented mindset which contributes to business.
  • Strong commercial sense and motivation to serve the customer.
  • Good negotiator, always having the aspired goal in mind.
  • Needs to be able to manage team.
  • Excellent networking abilities and impeccable interpersonal approach
  • Able to lead larger internal and external meetings.
  • Readiness to coach people and likes to work across cultures.
