Business Unit Description

MERC “Middle East Resourcing Center” Business Unit is the deparmtment responsible for supporting the operations for the Consulting Line of Service. The department focuses on multiple competencies such as Resourcing, Business Development, Talent Aqusition & Recruitment, Human Capital, Communications, and Central Finance. MERC Consulting team contributes in the achievements of the consulting line of service by providing the backend support required to delivere high end results to our clients.

Job Summary

The PwC Middle East HCBL (Human Capital Business Line) team provides support in the areas of human resources, talent management, organizational design, and workforce strategy. The team works with clients to develop and implement people strategies that align with their business goals and objectives. This includes helping clients to identify and address HR-related risks, manage change and transformation, and improve overall organizational performance. The HCBL team also provides support in the areas of employee engagement, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and execution of projects within the HCBL team. This could include client management, team management, and workstream delivery.
  • Data analysis and interpretation: Senior associates may be responsible for data analysis and interpretation in order to provide insights and recommendations. They may use various tools and techniques to analyze data and identify patterns or trends.
  • Developing project deliverables: Senior associates will be expected to contribute to the development of project deliverables such as presentations, reports, and other materials. They will need to ensure that these deliverables are of high quality and meet the needs of the client.
  • Conducting research: Senior associates may be required to conduct research on various topics. This could involve gathering information from various sources, analyzing data, and synthesizing insights.
  • You will need to build and maintain relationships in order to understand needs and provide high-quality service.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members: Senior associates may be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior team members. They will need to provide guidance and support to help junior team members develop their skills and progress in their careers.
