Graduate Architect (UAE National)

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing conceptual design work and project presentations.

Support design development of project proposals and feasibility studies.

Contribute to technical delivery, including working drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.

Enhance “Design Excellence” through qualified project delivery.

Prepare and present plans to governing and permitting authorities for land use, zoning, and permit approvals.

Carry out assignments independently in alignment with project objectives and professional standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.

Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.

Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.

As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.

Desirable Criteria:

Preferably pursuing or having obtained RIBA Part 3 / Registered Architect status.

Strong spatial and technical abilities with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Proficient in both hand drawing and computer graphics.

Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Experience with BIM, Revit, and InDesign is advantageous.
