Role Overview

Join AECOM’s 2024 Graduate Program and kickstart your career as a Graduate – Accounts Payable Coordinator (UAE National) within our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual interested in supporting our accounting operations with precision and compliance in invoicing and expense management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter invoices and expense reports into the accounting system accurately.
• Resolve routine questions and problems, escalating more complex issues to higher levels as needed.
• Perform tasks related to imaging and electronic processing of invoices.
• Adapt procedures, processes, and techniques to meet the requirements of the position.
• Conduct audits on invoices and expense reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Review and post Accounts Payable batches to the general ledger.
• Perform responsibilities related to reporting and analysis, as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited University.
• Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
• Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
• Previous internships in accounts payable or receivable functions is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written + verbal communication skills in English
