Under the general guidance and supervision of the Recreation Supervisor and within the limits of established policies and procedures, you will be responsible for the overall Bowling centre and Recreation facilities of the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities 

FINANCIAL RETURNS 

Maintain proper inventory of the equipment and other items of the Bowling facility.

PEOPLE 

Direct reports to the Recreation Supervisor

Interacts, cooperates with other employees of the Recreation Department.

Interacts, cooperates with other departments as appropriate.

Interacts, cooperate with Hotel Guest and Recreation members as appropriate manner.

Attend scheduled training sessions.

Participate actively in employee activities

Adhere to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards

Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures related to Health, Hygiene and Fire, Life and Safety

Familiarise yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures

 

GUEST EXPERIENCE 

Attend to and address guest needs and inquiries in a timely manner.

Ensure compliance with the hotel policy and safety & security standards.

Handles guests’ queries, complaints with regard to the Bowling center.

Ensure guests amenities, and other guests needs have ample supply.

Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers

Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS 

Keep work & gaming area in a clean and orderly manner (Balls, shoes, seating area, bowling lanes, Machines…).

Accepts return of shoes, sprays shoes with disinfectant and returns to proper storage.

Monitor gaming activities in assigned area for gaming.

Report repairs and maintenance problems to supervisor.

Make minor repairs to the gaming machines (Cleaning, Calibration, troubleshooting…).

Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Participate in activities concerning protection of environment.

All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 

The ideal Gaming Attendant must be at least a High School graduate, two years’ experience in similar position (hotel experience preferred) and a keen eye for detail when it comes to leisure facility operation.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

Communication and Customer service handling.

Knowledge of gaming systems.

Cash handling.

Alertness & Problem-solving.

Teamwork & Flexibility.

May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
