Your day to day

Job Description:

 

As the Revenue Manager, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the hotel’s revenue and profitability through effective pricing strategies, inventory management, and analysis of market trends. You will collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of revenue management strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

o    Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue and market share.

o    Analyze market trends, competitive set performance, and demand patterns to make informed pricing and inventory decisions.

o    Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions and occupancy forecasts.

o    Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages.

o    Prepare and present revenue forecast reports and performance analysis to the management team.

o    Utilize revenue management systems and tools, including IHG systems, to optimize pricing and inventory distribution across all revenue channels.

o    Conduct regular reviews of pricing and distribution channels to ensure optimal performance.

o    Train and mentor colleagues on revenue management principles and best practices.

 

What we need from you

Qualifications:

 

o    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

o    Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue management or a related role within the hospitality industry.

o    Familiarity with IHG systems and revenue channels is essential.

o    Strong analytical skills and proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.

o    Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.

o    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
