We are currently looking for dynamic, and self motivated Food & Beverage professionals who want to move their careers forward.
As a Food & Beverage/Culinary Coordinator you are responsible to sup ort the Food & Beverage/Culinary Management in the day-to-day operation by performing administration and operational tasks, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
- Assist in controlling and analyzing quality levels of products and ingredients, analysing guest feedbacks, guest satisfaction reports, and social media feedback
- Cordinate with the various departments for tasks related to merchandising and marketing, operating costs and sanitation
- Cordinate with outlet chefs and Sous Chefs on weekly focus tasks
- Establish and maintain effective and open Employee relations
- Coordinate with Human Resources on all administration matters related to colleagues
- Provide support to all new joining employees, for emergency situations and leaving colleagues.
- Develop and coordinate formal training plans, and conduct on the job training sessions for Culinary Department Employees
- Assist with the compilation of new menus and beverage lists if required
- Cordinate and follow up on HES reports, compliance matters and engeneering matter
- Attend and contribute to daily Culinary Departmental meetings
- Inform the Culinary Department on a daily basis of all relevant information on operational matters
- Create and follow up an up to date policy and procedure library and food standard library for all restaurants
- When required oversee the presentation of Food products to ensure highest quality at all times
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a degree in the hospitality field with a maximum of one year experience in a similar role. You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and a wide familiarity with Micros would be desirable. Previous experiences in minor leadership and supervisory roles are a definite plus.
