What will I be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Coordinate projects and activities. This may involve attending meetings, taking notes, and acting upon assigned duties to coordinate the assigned project.
  • Maintain communication with departments involved in the assigned project/activity.
  • Route incoming mail, faxes, and packages.
  • Answer telephone and assist internal and external guests with requests.
  • Writes correspondence on behalf of the department. Makes copies, and sends/distributes outgoing mail. Uses email system to deliver and accept emails.
  • Greet internal and external customers when entering the department. Assists with a variety of requests.
  • Maintains a detailed filing system for the department.

In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Maintain office supplies for the department.
  • Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Follow and know emergency procedures as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees, and guests.
