    Job Description

    The Finance Executive will be responsible for the administration and supervision of financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all payments.

    • Ensure debit notes are prepared and dispatched on schedule each month.
    • Approve cheques for signing.
    • Verify that all invoices are approved by authorized personnel; return any unauthorized invoices.
    • Prepare prompt and accurate allocation of all accounts payable for posting.
    • Ensure the timely payment of all invoices, taking advantage of any available discounts.
    • Ensure all invoices are properly approved for payment.
    • Review and approve the coding of invoices, identifying any discrepancies or deviations from policy.
    • Prepare expense analyses and other informational reports.
    • Verify the accuracy and correctness of invoices.
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors.

    Desired Skill & Expertise

    • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
    • Strong understanding of financial processes, including accounts payable, invoicing, and financial reporting.
    • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions and documentation.
    • Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
    • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
    • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Understanding of financial regulations, policies, and best practices within the hospitality industry.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external auditors and other departments.
