A Finance Manager distributes a company’s financial resources, is in charge of budget planning, and assists the executive management team in making the best business decisions for the company by providing insights and financial advice.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform financial management duties such as generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and evaluating the company’s financial health.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments, including the creation and review of policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular financial procedures assessments.
- Supervising the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations; monitoring and enforcing compliance with tax and financial reporting standards; and assisting with cash flow forecasting are all responsibilities.
- Advise colleagues and executive management on financial decisions affecting the company.
- Monitor the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
- Mediate on financial issues between the organization, its employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and investors in order to reach an amicable resolution.
- Create strategic business plans based on an examination of the company’s financials.
- Coordinating with all partners (internal and external) and assisting them in making logical decisions.
- Assisting the marketing/sales department by providing relevant and useful data.
- Creating an effective top-up purchasing plan and strategy.
- Creating a loan management strategy (searching new effective and efficient sources for financing the company).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
- 3-5 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience, specially in telecom or top up distributors sector/industry.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of complex data into actionable information ability to collaborate with and communicate effectively with senior-level business partners
- Superior business judgment, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Financial reporting and data mining tools such as QuickBooks, Access, and others are required.
- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are required.
