The F&B Reservations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the reservations process for all food and beverage outlets, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from the point of booking to the dining experience. This role involves managing a team of reservations agents, coordinating with various F&B outlets, and maximizing occupancy and revenue through effective reservation management and upselling strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and supervise the reservations team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to service standards.
  • Handle all incoming reservations inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Accurately record and confirm reservations, ensuring all guest requests and preferences are noted.
  • Coordinate with the F&B outlets to optimize seating and booking capacities.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to guests at all times.
  • Assist guests with information about the outlets, special events, and promotions.
  • Handle any guest complaints or issues related to reservations, escalating as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations using the property management and reservation systems.
  • Update guest profiles and preferences to enhance the personalized guest experience.
  • Prepare daily reports on reservations and occupancy levels for the F&B team.
  • Work closely with F&B teams to ensure special requests, dietary requirements, and guest preferences are communicated effectively.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as Front Office and Sales, to support guest needs and special arrangements.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell dining experiences, special events, and promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Assist in driving outlet revenue through effective reservation management and guest communication

 

Requirements

 

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience in reservations or a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
