We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Doctor and Animal Farm Manager to oversee the health and well-being of animals on our farms and wild animal sanctuaries. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing veterinary care, managing farm operations, supervising staff, and implementing animal health programs. Additionally, they will be involved in project development and budgeting for the animal wealth department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide veterinary care to farm animals, including diagnosing and treating diseases, performing surgeries, and administering vaccinations.
  2. Supervise the care of wild animals in sanctuaries, ensuring proper nutrition, health monitoring, and immunizations.
  3. Manage farm operations, including feed management, nutrition planning, and public health and hygiene.
  4. Maintain animal health through periodic immunizations and preventive care measures.
  5. Oversee the production of dairy products, including milk and cheese, and supervise workers in the production process.
  6. Manage farm workers, including work distribution, performance evaluation, and vacation scheduling.
  7. Handle purchasing management, including procurement of feed, medicines, and materials for dairy manufacturing and general hygiene.
  8. Manage bird farms and egg production, including vaccination protocols, feed provision, and medication administration.
  9. Develop projects related to animal wealth, such as poultry, sheep, and cow farms, and coordinate with office management for implementation.
  10. Coordinate with other departments as required for joint work projects.
  11. Prepare monthly statements related to animal purchases and budgets for animal wealth department.
  12. Occasionally travel to purchase animals locally or internationally.
  13. Prepare annual budgets for the animal wealth department and oversee the implementation of animal-related projects.
  14. Supervise the implementation of projects related to animal wealth, including plans, drawings, and required resources.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution.
  2. Valid veterinary license and registration.
  3. Proven experience in veterinary care, farm management, and project development.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Knowledge of animal health, nutrition, and production techniques.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  8. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  9. Willingness to travel as needed.
  10. Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
