Faculty Position in Nutrition (Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor)

Position Summary: 

The B.Sc. in Nutrition & Dietetics is established under the Department of Nutrition Sciences. The program is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for an academic position in Nutrition at the level of Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor, beginning January 2024.  The candidate will be required to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conduct research, and contribute to the department, college and university services.

– Supervise research projects and theses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

– Contribute to the research profile of the college through research grants and publications.

– Assist in the community service, marketing, and outreach activities of the department programs.

– Contribute to various committees at the department, college, and university level.

– Engage in professional development activities/training to enhance teaching effectiveness and stay updated about advancements in the field.

– Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department

– Applicant should demonstrate active role in both collaborating on and leading independent research, including grant writing and submission.

– Strong peer reviewed publication record

– Experience in teaching and supervising post graduate degrees

– Ability to lead as well as to function as a strong collaborator on a multidisciplinary team.

– Familiar with Educational technologies used in higher education sector.
