Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature, grammar, and composition, along with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring students. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop their language skills, critical thinking abilities, and love for literature.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered to participate.
• Assess student progress regularly through various methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and discussions, and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Foster a love for reading and literature by introducing students to a wide range of literary works from different genres and cultures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate English language skills with other subject areas.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Teaching certification or QTS
• Proven experience teaching English language and literature at the middle school/high school level.
• Strong knowledge of English grammar, composition, and literary analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
