SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Engineering and Project Manager to support an O&M contract in Doha, Qatar.

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Manage onsite project team(s) executing minor projects to carry out repairs, refurbishments, repurposing, renovation, and/or modernization work.
  • Develop project schedules, bills of materials, and CAD drawings for PM approved projects.
  • Develop project cost estimates based on system criticality, budget, LCCA, TOC.
  • Closely collaborate with all project stakeholders.
  • Obtain all project required permits and approvals.
  • Ensure specified project materials are ordered and received onsite ahead of scheduled project need.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with PM approved schedules.
  • Ensure completion of all project commissioning tasks.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of all required project documentation and reporting
  • Ensure manufacturers and site-specific preventive maintenance procedures are provided for all project systems and individual components.
  • Assist with Facility Condition Assessments.
  • Assist with failure root cause analyses.
  • Ensure all project personnel are properly trained/certified/licensed to perform their assigned work.
  • Properly use and wear task appropriate required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by onsite personnel at all times.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
  • BS Engineering.
  • At least 10 years’ experience providing Engineering and Project Management services to large facilities or operations.
  • At least 2 years experience providing Engineering and Project Management services on US contracts overseas.
  • At least 2 years experience scheduling projects with MS Project and/or Primavera P6 software.
  • At least 2 years AutoCAD and/or BIM experience.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and practices (UFC, IBC, NEC, ASHRE, NFPA, etc.)
  • Job requires bending, twisting, routinely lifting over 25 lbs, and climbing ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification desired.

Work Environment

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
