Main tasks and responsibilities:

Position description

• Supervise daily Electrical, Instrument, Control and Automation system work

progress in line with construction schedule.

• Monitor Electrical, Instrument, C&A and Telecom construction systems and

processes to ensure the work agrees with the project’s design and specification.

• Performing field walk-downs and inspections to review work for conformance with

design requirements, applicable codes/standards and project procedures and

interact with site team to understand the hindrance to work.

• Coordinate with EPC to ensure the timely mobilization of resources as per

mobilization plan.

• Attend all inspection, cable laying, termination, MCC, etc. as per QA/QC plan. And

ensure the prerequisites are on place to commence Electrical and C& A activities

as planned.

• Prepare daily/weekly progress report and other concerns to site management.

• Report daily, weekly, and/or monthly on installed quantities and status.

• Intervene to site issues and take appropriate action to the way forward of activities.

• Performs coordination with Design Engineering to resolve technical problems and

reviewing, implementing, and/or dispositioning change requests such as Field

Change Notices, Field Change Requests, Nonconformance Reports, Conditioned

Reports, and other technical documentation.

• Cross discipline review of design documents and interface with engineering team,

vendor and other disciplines engineers as required.

• Monitor the efficiency of equipment that deployed in critical activities and give

recommendations to addition/appropriate deployment to get the work done on

time.

• Periodical assessment about shortage of electrical resources and report to EPC

for their actions.

• Liaise in-between HSE advisors and EPC to make sure the Electrical, Inst. and

C&A activities are carrying out in line with HSE compliance.

Staff Development:

• Developing Omani staff by on-the-job training and active participation in their

development plan.

• Providing new hires with necessary training.

Qualification

Educational qualification is bachelor’s in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering.

Total 10 years of experience in the projects of downstream and construction&

installation.
