Jacobs is hiring a Diver, to work for a large infrastructure construction supervision contract in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for driving staff from Dubai as a starting point to the supervision site in Abu Dhabi and then return back to Dubai in the evening.

 

Additional duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport passengers to designated locations within the UAE, which is from Dubai to Abu Dhabi then returning in the evening. 

• Maintain a valid UAE driver’s license and ensure compliance with local traffic laws and regulations.

• Plan and navigate the most efficient routes using GPS or maps, considering traffic conditions and road restrictions.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition, reporting any issues promptly.

• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained, and refueled as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any expenses incurred.

• Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and management, providing updates on trip status and any delays or issues encountered.

• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the journey.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

 

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

To be a successful candidate you must have a valid UAE driver’s license with a minimum of 10 years of driving experience, a proven track record of safe driving and knowledge of UAE traffic laws and regulations is mandatory. Additional skills:

 

• Excellent knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and landmarks.

• Ability to navigate using GPS or maps and plan efficient routes.

• Proficiency in spoken English.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a professional driver or in a similar role is preferred
