1.   Delivery of Catering Orders:
•   The primary responsibility of a hotel catering driver is to transport catering orders from the hotel’s kitchen to the designated venue. This may involve loading food, beverages, equipment and supplies onto the delivery vehicle in a safe and organized manner.
2.   Ensuring Timely Delivery:
•   Timeliness is crucial in catering delivery. The driver must adhere to the schedule provided by the supervisor and ensure that all deliveries reach their destinations promptly.
3.   Customer Service:
•   The catering driver is often the primary point of contact between the hotel and the client when delivering catering orders. Therefore, providing excellent customer service is essential. This may involve greeting clients professionally, confirming order details, and addressing any concerns or special requests.
4.   Maintaining Cleanliness: 
•   Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and organized is important to uphold the hotel’s professional image.
•   The driver should regularly clean the interior and exterior of the vehicle and ensure that food and beverage
•   Containers are properly secured to prevent spills or contamination.
5.   Compliance with Food safety Regulations:
•   A good understanding of food safety regulations is essential for catering drivers to ensure that all food item are transported and delivered in compliance with health and safety standards.
6.   Problem Solving Skills:
•   In the event of unexpected challenges, such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns, the catering driver should be able to think quickly and implement solutions to minimize disruptions to the delivery schedule.
7.   Attention to Detail:
•   Catering orders often include a variety of items, from food trays to utensils and condiments. The driver must pay close attention to detail to ensure that all items are accounted for and delivered in the correct quantities and condition.

8.   Communication with Kitchen Staff, co-workers and Guests:
•   Effective communication with the hotel’s kitchen staff is crucial to ensure that all catering orders are accurately prepared and ready for delivery on time. The driver may need to coordinate with kitchen personnel regarding order quantities, special instructions, or last-minute changes.
•   Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
•   Discuss work topics, activities, or problems with coworkers, supervisors, or managers discreetly and quietly,    avoiding public areas of the property.
9.   Vehicle Maintenance: 
•   Regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle is essential to ensure safe and reliable transportation. The             driver should conduct routine checks on the vehicle’s condition, such as oil levels, tire pressure, and overall
•   Mechanical soundness.
10.   Safe Driving Practices:
•   Practicing safe driving habits is paramount to ensure the safety of the driver, passengers, and other road users. This includes following traffic laws, adhering to speed limits, and maintaining a defensive driving mindset.
11.   Assists Management
•   Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met.
12.   Working with Others
•   Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
•   Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
•   Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
13.   Safety and Security
•   Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
•   Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
•   Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
•   Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
•   Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
•   Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
•   Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
14.   Policies and Procedures
•   Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
•   Follow company and department policies and procedures.
•   Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
•   Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
•   Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•   Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
