Responsibilities not limited to;
- Vendor Data control including liaising with all project disciplines to identify key information required to perform this task within the project / program quality guidelines.
- · Maintain project Document Control systems.
- · Distribution by transmittal of all project information as required by the program.
- · Printing, filing, PDF production, distribution and control of design drawings and engineering documents (including specifications, lists and design data); preparation of transmittals and recording of all distribution information such as revision numbers, issue dates and destinations within the Document Control system.
- · Perform document control processes and procedures tailored to the project in accordance with the QIC and project specific Document Control Procedures.
- · Identifying improvements within the QIC Document Control processes according to the project requirements.
- · Co-ordinate and manage the transfer of client project documentation at agreed intervals.
- · Provide training and audit of project filing in accordance with agreed procedure in Project Execution Plans.
- Implement & monitor document control systems & policies to ensure that projects are undertaken cost-effectively & in compliance with company policies & statutory obligations.
- · Identify potential safety, cost, time, quality, procurement, or HR issues & taking corrective action.
Here’s what you’ll need:
About you;
- Degree qualified in Engineering with over 10 years’ experience as a Document Controller for complex process plant or power projects.
- Experience working in the Middle East especially Saudi Arabia is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience working for a Consultant on an Owners Engineer project will be a distinct advantage.
- Broad technical knowledge and hands on approach.
- Fluent in both written/verbal English communication skills.
- Computer literate particularly in Microsoft Excel, Work & Power Point. Knowledge in Microsoft Project will be an added advantage.
